Miles of Quarters to Pave the Way Home

Miles of Quarters to Pave the Way Home

About This Campaign

We are collecting quarters to Pave the Way Home for families in Okaloosa County! End to end we need 22 miles of quarters to pay for 380 feet of utility lines and the under-layment and the pavement for our next neighborhood in Crestview. Watch for the signs along 123 to mark the progress. Help us by dropping your quarters in the paint cans and buckets at the ReStores, the admin office, or our various partners around town. You can contribute online, help organize a fundraiser, or volunteer at an upcoming event!
Habitat for Humanity in Okaloosa County

Campaign to Support Habitat for Humanity in Okaloosa County

We help families build strength, self- reliance and stability by partnering with them to build safe, decent and affordable homes with help from the community. The homeowners must put in 300 hours of sweat equity, building homes for other families as well as work on their own home and they pay a modest, zero percent interest mortgage. There is no typical Habitat family. The families who partner with us to build and improve places to call home come from a variety of backgrounds and are selected at a local level. We partner with teachers, musicians, policemen, pastors, office workers and more. The basis for a family’s selection is their level of need for better housing, their willingness to partner with us and work alongside volunteers, and their ability to pay an affordable mortgage.
